Seating plan for buffet receptiin

A lot of people don't bother, but personally, I prefer it if a wedding buffet has a seating plan. Most of the weddings I've been to, I've gone on my own, and it can be difficult finding a place to sit if there is no seating plan. More than once I've ended up as the uncomfortable 8th on a table where the other 7 know each other really well! If you have a seating plan, you can try to seat lone guests with people you think they will get on with, but even if they don't, at least they have a designated seat so won't feel like they are butting in!

Yes to a seating plan! We are having food trucks and the thought of people not knowing where to sit makes me feel sad cause I feel that way when I go to the gym! 😂😂 I don’t know who to stand with or who wants to chat! Agree with above we have 4 couples coming who don’t know a single person through the day so we are sitting them all together!
