Second dance songs

Horace, 13 of November of 2013 at 16:24 Posted on Planning 0 17

Does anyone care to share their chosen second dance songs? I'm not necessarily looking for something father/daughtery, just something appropriate and fun without scaring couples who have joined us during the first dance off of the dance floor! We are having Take That Rule The World as our first dance if that helps at all... Thanks

I think we are going to have Rihanna - We found love, to liven up the dance floor.

I didnt want my father/dauther dance straight after the first dance, but unsure where to put it in x

We're having Euphoria - Loreen (Eurovision winner 2012) for our second dance! We both love the song and the lyrics but we thought it was too dancey for our first dance! Although we can't decide what our first dance is yet....! I want James Blunts new one, bonfire heart and my OH wants foreigner waiting for a girl like you!

Ain't Nobody by Chaka Khan - one of our faves, very appropriate lyrics and a dead cert floor filler.

Foo, we're having Ain't Nobody as our first dance, hoping it sets the scene. Second song will be You've Got The Love, but the original, not Florence.

No idea what our first dance is yet but second dance will be something like red hot chili peppers or queen, a fast and rock one to get all our family up on the dancefloor.

This is cute! And my OH loves the Beatles.

We have asked our Dj to be sure to play lots of good party stuff to get everyone up and dancing throughout the night but I wonder if second dance should be less 'rave' and more 'family fun' - I love Rihanna 'we found love' but I think that's a bit full on for second dance.

I did think of Stevie Wonder 'Sunshine of my Life' but nothing is making me think 'yes!' - ridiculous how these tiny decisions take over your life in he last throes of wedding planning! ?

Blame it on the boogie - without a doubt the best dance floor filler!

We are having Audrey Hepburn version of Moon River as our first dance is Beneath Your Beautiful and it might be a bit awkward for older people to dance to.
