Selling my wedding dress

I was lucky enough to be able to buy my dream dress for my August 2025 wedding, I really felt amazing in it, especially with the corset back that allowed me to fluctuate in weight (my weight can be very inconsistent) and gave me the best posture on top of that. There were two looks in one using the overskirt, which was amazing for the grand entrance and then removing it gave a more sleek look for the evening.

I have professionally dry cleaned it, and now that I’m looking to buy my first house, I need as much money as back as I can. I’m aware it won’t go for anywhere near the RRP (£3,300) but I’m hoping to sell it for 60% of that (£1,980) including the overskirt, especially since it’s in perfect condition after professionally dry cleaning it. I would’ve done the same myself but when I tried to find the exact dress, the option available when I was looking was very dirty at the bottom, and even more expensive than this.
I’d love some tips on selling, the fees that come with moving houses are not a joke! And more than that I’d love for someone else to feel as special as I did with this dress.
