Sent Save the Dates and now panicking!

I’ve posted my save the dates today but I am now panicking a bit! I have only sent them to our “core” guests. There are some people (who have not been sent save the dates) who we will definitely invite but maybe only to the evening do, and some we may not invite at all (if we don’t have separate evening guests).

I am worried others might mention save the dates and people might be upset that they haven’t got one. People will know better than that, right...?

I think what you have done is fine. And if anyone asks just use covid as a reason. Explain that you aren't sure what numbers you will be allowed yet so you are holding off telling too many people at the moment until the situation improves.
