Setting up a wedding website

Instead of putting reams of info in with the invitations, I want to set up a website where I can put information about the day - parking, maps, hotels, gift list etc then possibly add the photos after. Has anyone done this before and where do I start?

    We got lots of compliments about how professional it looks! It's so easy to edit too!

    We've done it by buying some webspace and a domain name and then writing all the code ourselves. Pretty pleased with the results but it did take a while and a decent grounding in HTML/CSS coding.

    Ours was free - didn't buy domain... Hmmm still let us use our names in the website address etc

    It's something we give to our wedding photography clients for free. There is a RSVP system and you can add content like maps pictures, albums and text via the back end. They are a really good idea
