I would love to do a boudoir shoot but it just doesnt fit into our budget :-(

I got it for my hubbys birthday because I couldn't afford it before the wedding. It worked out really well for his birthday because I wanted to do it for myself mainly so it doubled up and saved me thinking of a pressie!

On a more serious note, and I think I can speak for Lisa as well, neither of us are that confident or in love with our bodies. I think looking at our pics we could come across as that way but I was so nervous about my session which the photograph calls ‘Secrets’. I was amazed at the results and it showed me what can be achieved by a good tog, proper lighting, good posture etc and possibly some airbrushing.

I never wear clothes that even show any cleavage and in a bikini I’m very self conscious but I love my photographs because it gave me confidence that all the models on magazines don’t look perfect all the time!

I did it more for myself than my H and I’ve probably looked at the album more than him because I’m still amazed at the end results.

I really do encourage people to do it because the session can be exposed or not…you do what you feel comfortable with. My favourite picture is the first one I posted which shows nothing.

I agree with PG entirely - I've just had a boudoir session for our 10th wedding anniversary, and the results make me feel great. I'm not that confident about my body or my skin, and usually hate any photo of me. Although I will give H the pics for our anniversary, the shoot was definitely more for my benefit than his!

And an aside to Unhappyhusband - I hate pictures of me, always have, I wont let H point a camera at me and if he does the pics usually end up deleted. I hate my body but heard these were a good boost for your confidence and OMG they really are. And just fyi, I have shown EVERYONE I KNOW!!!!!
