Shapewear Vs Corset

HappyAnnie, 13 of September of 2011 at 18:36 Posted on Planning 0 1

When I first tried my dress on the shop gave me a corset to wear underneath - it was amazing, sucked in all the right places and gave the dress great shape. My dress is now being made and the dress lady said I need to sort my own underwear ready for when the dress is ready, which will prob be a few months time. Question is - do you think it has to be a corset (they seem really expensive and I doubt I'd ever wear it again) OR do I buy some shapewear(see pic, but in nude colour)? Does it matter? I just want my waist to be as tiny/sucked in as possible ? What are others doing?

Shapewear - without a doubt! A corset will be really restrictive. Just double check that the shapewear will go under your dress - i.e not too high on the bust, no straps etc. I'm having a waspie which is fab for creating a nice waistline!
