This is my engagement ring - I knew I wanted a coloured stone rather than diamond and I love it. My H2B and I went to the laines in Brighton to look around the jewellery shops. This was the first one I tried on as it really stood out to me in the window. I tried on a few more in other stores but this is what I came back to


My wedding ring is a gold band with a half band of channel set diamonds which slots right under it and I love them both

This is my engagement ring, it’s a sapphire with diamonds in illusion settings. Sapphire is my H2Bs birthstone and it also ties in really well with our wedding colour scheme as we’ve decided on navy, cream and gold. I’ve also included a picture of my custom wedding ring in a resin sample and a picture of our wedding rings together in their little box 😊

Who did you go through for the resin sample? I had no idea about that and am stressing a bit about what shape will look best with my ring! Wondering about a wishbone or a crossover as well as the curved option you've gone for. Did you get to try a few out?

Aww thank you - I've always known I'd hope for a coloured stone and a few years ago a sapphire would have been my first choice, but when grandma passed away she left me her ruby and gold bracelet which became my most precious possession and turned me 'team ruby' as a result, FH did good!

Your ring is beautiful and so unique! Gorgeous idea to pair with the art deco band - I love a vintage look!

My E ring. I found it on a market stall, literally a street market, not an antiques fair or anything.


They had cases with lots of rings in, thought ooo shiny things let's try some on. Tried this on and it fitted perfectly! I fell I love with it. Cue phone call to my FH to ask .... So, random have you bought an engagement ring yet?
I have had it checked out by an actual registered valuer/ gemologist person and it's all real.
I love how the stone is set as it let's so much light in. Plus I paid less for to than its actually worth.
