Shops that sell bras for huge boobs.

OB, 11 July, 2013 at 10:49 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 29

I’m sure I’ve asked this before but I cannot remember!

Is there a shop I can go and visit that sells massive bras? I hate buying stuff online and it never fits properly so then I have to return it and the whole thing is just a big pain in the arse.

I’m in the midlands if that makes any difference.

Thanks!

Me too! Not sure about any bra shops other than BNS, Debenhams and M&S. I do know though that kris line is a good range for larger bra's, pretty too but apart from t'internet Im not sure who would stock them

Apparently Bravissimo go to cup size K. Have just read a review about shop in Solihull and they seem helpful.........not sure if that is near you though

Is it Belissimo that sells bras for large booby ladies? I know they have a shop.

I concur re Bravissimo, your nearest one would be solihull OB, if you make the trip once to get looked at you can easily order online after.

Bravissimo I believe is the only dedicated large sizes company which has stores on the high street. I've personally had mixed experiences there, but they get a lot of excellent reviews and repeat business.

The only thing is shince you are PG you will be advised to wear bras without underwire, which may not be doable (I'm an F and I wouldn't leave the house in a bra with no underwiring. You may I'm afraid be destined for some very ugly new underwear....

    Another for Bravissimo.

Also, no experience of them but a Boux Avenue has just opened in Leeds. They go up to an H.

Have you tried Rigby and Peller? I know they are expensive but at least every bra is fitted for you so you know they will be suitable. They go up to a K I think. I am a 30 E or F which is impossible to get in most high street shops but they always have LOADS of choice for me there. There is one in Cambridge which is the one I go to, not sure where else they have stores but I think there might be one in Birmingham. Also, I like Triumph Bras which I know go up to at least an F as that is the size I have. There is also a Triumph shop in Cambridge.

Kitten Cake - Bravissimo and Boux Avenue have loads of 30E and 30F - might be worth a look.

I spent years yo-yoing with my weight, tyring to change my body shape before I realised I was still going to be horrendously pear shaped no matter what size I was.....I wouldn't say I am happy with my body shape yet, but I have learnt to live with it at least.

Another vote for Bravissimo, I've been to the shop in Brighton and the staff are so helpful as long as you don't mind standing topless in front of them!

Their online ordering is also really good and they have free returns so if there isn't a store near you that could be an option.

Bravissimo are good for both range and fitting. We have a Leia in York too, who also have a fantastic range of bigger cup sizes. I'd advise not buying more than bra at a time during pregnancy- my boobs jumped from a 32e/f to a 34j during pregnancy, which made bra buying pricey. You're fine to stay in underwired bras during pregnancy as long as they fit well, the underwires shouldn't be compressing any breast tissue. I found they just got too uncomfortable in the later stages and switched to soft cups. Hotmilk are the most comfortable maternity/nursing bras ever, fact, but not stocked by bravissimo sadly.

Bravissimo, every time. Solihull store is in Touchwood. They do up to J/ K in most things, but I got my nursing bra there ... i shall say it was over that and stop there. They also stock their pepperberry clothing range (really nice to buy blouses thst fit and dresses that are not a compromise on size either boobs or waist etc).

They sell a variety of ranges and they love colour. The range changes fairly regularly. Worth a visit (though sales wise i adore their website bargains but i know my fit in most of the makes there now) I am very limited when bra shopping. But it's such a niceeplace i don't bother wiyh anywhrre else now. Staff are helpful. friendly place.
