Short wedding dress

Hi all,
Has anyone got married in a short dress in October / November time UK? I’ve fallen in love with the simplest of dresses, not even a wedding dress but it speaks to me. It’s knee length which I’m happy about but I just don’t know if it’ll look right for the time of year! If anyone did, I’d love some advice, did you opt to wear a jacket with it or just risk the cold?

    I agree with Marcie! If it speaks to you and you feel good in it then go for it!
    I’m wearing a tea dress for my wedding. I’m getting married May 2022 so hopefully won’t need a jacket.
    The weather would be colder in the Autumn months, would you consider a scarf?

    A scarf is something I’d not thought about tbh. The only thing I’d wondered was if a jacket that comes longer in length than the actual dress might look nice but I will have a look at scarves now aswell. xx

    I think October you will be ok but November may be pushing it a little without any extra items to slip on. A shorter dress will not look out of place but it depends on how much you feel the cold yourself if it does turn out chilly. Maybe get something extra like has been mentioned that you can easily take on and off for the photos shawls are quite popular for this.
