My partner and I are planning our wedding for next July and we’ve hit a bit of a discussion point that I’d love your thoughts on. We’re torn about whether to do a “first look” before the ceremony. On one hand, it’s a chance to see each other, have some photos done early, and ease the nerves. On the other hand, part of us wants the traditional moment of unveiling in front of all our friends and family and we don’t want to lose that magical feeling.
We’ve already booked our photographer, and they’re happy to work the schedule either way. If we do the first look, we’d have a shorter “alone” time and then make our entrance together. If we don’t, we’ll be apart before the ceremony and then jump straight into the reveal.
