I'm having one made. After much searching and sending a few back, I gave up and found a dressmaker. I've had a couple of mock-ups already, waiting for a third one with a few adjustments now. I've bought the fabric though, it's been sat under my bed for weeks! It's tough trying to look shoes without actually having the dress, but I feel like I need to start before Christmas is upon us.

I'm wearing a tea length dress and open toed shoes in December. If you like them, don't let the date put you off. You're unlikely to be outside much anyway. Be a rebel! ?

Yes I found a pair on ebay but they were from an American seller and I don't want to get stung on import tax! It was making an already expensive pair of shoes just a bit out of my budget. I'm just going to resign myself to finding something here that I can actually try on! Hope your girly can get them for you but I will have major shoe envy if she does!!?

My MOH had those for her wedding a few months ago. She lasted all night in them and they looked fabulous!! Gorgeous shoes, if only my OH wasn't the same height as me!! She had to compete with being 5'3 and marrying someone who was 6'9"

These little beauties! I haven't looked at specific 'bridal' shoes as I think I'd rather something sparkly that I can wear again.

I'm only worried about carpet and cobbles when we have our photos taken, other than that I should be okay, I've stocked up on blister plasters and those jelly inserts for the heel part of my foot and just near my toes, even got some cushion things for my little toe so I don't end up with cuts and blisters.

These were mine! They were really high for me but the ankle strap meant I didn't fall out of them!

I thought mine were high but littlesnowflake yours are AMAZING! You are my inspiration. I am currently breaking them in wearing thick socks and have bought heel grips, cushions and plasters. I might get some of those insoles too.

You all have amazing shoes, i am only 5ft and LOVE high heels. im going to get a high pair for the ceremony and then hoping to find some lovely wedges or something for the reception as i find them far easier to walk in, no doubt i will end up with a pair of slipper socks on by about 9pm
