Chicken 82, I love your venue!! we had to go register here as my OH is south african only a few registry offices can take the regiatration.

I loves the building and they let us have a good look round and I have to say if I wasnt going to get married back home in Cheshire then we would have gone for your Venue.

It does still amaze me how many Bristol people are on here, I am just across the bridge from you, literally. I can see the bridge from my house and I am a 3 min drive from it.

Oooh - everyone's venues look so lovely!! Mine isn't quite as grand but I love it all the same! We're having both the ceremony and reception in the same place - and guests are also staying there...as are we!!

Thats where we buy all our South African goodies from!!

Tauster, how funny. We got married on the 10th. Yes, I have stayed in Lindos twice before and once with my H. We planned a UK wedding which went horribly wrong and then opened a weddings abroad brochure and there it was. It seemed right.

We were staying in Lindos from 4th August for a week - spookier! I dont think we went to the beach the day you got married though.

Sorry to hear that your UK wedding went wrong but you did choose a very nice replacement so it was have been the silver lining to your cloud.
