Side Tiara help

Thanks, but I don't want the band showing, i want it look more liek a hair clip (which would not stay in my hair). i tried my dress on today and the shop gave me a tiara to try on, with a brown band, but it was £155!

Could you wrap something brown like ribbon or florist wire ( i know it comes in colours) around an cheaper one?
