Signing the register music

What are you all having as your music for signing the register? I'd not given it a second thought until one of our musicians asked when we booked them. Plenty time to decide yet but looking for inspiration.

    Ellie goulding - how long will I love you

    The elbow one is pretty long so should cover 90% of the time.

    I do love a thousand years - Christina perri so might put that on the playlist in case it takes longer than expected. ooooo what about Eva Cassidy songbird too, beautiful.

    We had a string quartet and I had them play Somewhere from West Side Story and Sun and Moon from Miss Saigon (I'm a bit of a musicals geek!)

    Songbird is a lovely suggestion - I'l see what the OH thinks of it.

    OMs - about how long did it take - from your replies I'm seeing it may be at least two songs?

    We had two piano instrumentals played in the church. Comptine d'un autre ete by yan tiersen and River Flows in You by Yiruma. Have a listen on you tube.

    We're not really sure where we're having the songs we want yet, but current thinking is "baby I'm yours" by Arctic Monkeys and "I do" by Colbie Caillat.

    For the signing the register we had something a bit older and more classically romantic than our other music had been, it was True Love Ways by Buddy Holly
