I've been experimenting a lot with skin prep lately because my makeup kept sliding off by the evening, especially around the nose and forehead. What’s made a big difference for me is switching to a gentle exfoliation routine twice a week and using a hydrating serum before primer

I also started exploring product recommendations from The Beauty Pia —they have super detailed reviews that helped me find a primer that actually works with my skin type. Might be worth checking out if you're still refining your routine!

Totally feel you on the pre-wedding skin prep stress I was in the same boat a few months ago. Breakouts, sensitivity, the works. I wasn’t sure if I should go for facials or just leave my skin alone. What actually helped me was simplifying everything and focusing on what worked for me. One thing that made a huge difference was trying Nabota 100ui I got mine from https://tothebeauty.com/shop/toxins/nabota-100-units/ . Super subtle results but really smoothed out the areas I was most self-conscious about. Just make sure to give yourself enough time before the big day so everything settles naturally.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! 💍 If your skin’s a bit reactive, it’s best to start a gentle routine early — focus on hydration, exfoliate lightly, and avoid trying new treatments too close to the big day. Facials can help, but do your last one at least 2–3 weeks before the wedding. Also, check out Nurify Skin for some simple skincare options to keep your skin glowing naturally before your big day!

I totally feel you — prepping skin for a wedding is nerve-wracking! I actually got the dr pen ultima a10 microneedling pen last year, and it’s been a game changer for smoothing texture and calming leftover spots (microneedling stimulates collagen, nice bonus glow). Experts say to start treatments 4–6 months before your wedding so your skin can heal and build up calmly. For lip filler and under-eye injections, aim for about 2–3 months out so any swelling subsides and you still have room for tweaks.

If you’ve never had them before, book your first trial facial at least 3–4 months before the wedding, so you can see how your skin reacts. If you like it, do one every 4–6 weeks — but make sure the last one is at least 2 weeks before the wedding, just in case. Avoid trying anything new too close to the day!

I would massively recommend Hydrafacials. They are incredible for deep cleaning and having a good skincare routine in between will give you the best, glowing skin for your special day. If you would like to have a skincare consultation please let me know Smiley smile
