Hi,

I think a few people have had these so I'm after some recommendations of where to buy them?

Thanks

I got mine from here too - shame I couldn't use them at the wedding as it was so wet.

Let them off for my birthday and for Chinese New Year instead.

    Hi Lynsey

I've counted and i've got 37 but Postage would be quite a lot as they come in a big box and are quite heavy together BUT these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/20-x-SKY-LANTERNS-KHOOM-FAY-NIGHT-LIGHTS-UFO-BALLOONS_W0QQitemZ280308587438QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Home_Garden_Celebrations_Occasions_ET?hash=item280308587438&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1686|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 are really cheap!!

    Hi ya

The first time I used them I got them from here http://www.sourcing4u.co.uk/shop/index.php?cPath=28 but have since found them cheaper on ebay, about £55 for 30.

When planning for Sky lanterns make sure you have someone who will be able to co-ordinate them. They need laying out on the ground, then 1-2 people per lantern. Someone needs to then go round and light them. The time is taken at the beginning, getting them out of the packaging! Depending on how many you have you might need two people lighting them as each takes a short while to catch. Then as and when they're ready, people release and they create a staggered effect which is really effective. They are gorgeous and a great way to finish the night. Just check with your venue if you're allowed them and you aren't in any flight paths.

    Thanks everyone.

Nic I looked at those ones on ebay so have added the seller to my favourites so I can search out other prices before I buy them. ?

Thanks Ruth, another very helpful post as usual ?.

I'll look at your link now as well. Did you find the ones on ebay just as good quality as the more expensive ones?

My dad and uncle are happy to deal with the setting up of them and my venue has said I'm allowed them because we are pretty much in the middle of no where.
