Small Wedding 30 people Venue ideas

We’re having ours at a local golf club, with 40 day guests and another 20 evening guests. Their standard packages are for 55 day and an additional 25 evening guests but it wasn’t a problem at all when I enquired, they just took the standard pricing and scaled down to our numbers.


In terms of decor, including table decor, our venue can include some decor within our pricing such as mirrored plates with fishbowls, chair sashes etc, however this is pretty basic and we knew we wanted a lot more, including an arch for the end of the aisle. We’ve hired a venue dressing company to provide decor that suits the vibe we’re going for, rather than take the standard stuff that the venue can throw in.

We booked a local country pub for 30 - lovely room and stunning gardens. So it might be worth looking at local pubs and restaurants, especially if they have nice grounds. Ours even let people order whatever they wanted off the menu as long as they had the menu choices a week in advance.
