Hi all,


I am wanting to have a 2024 Saturday wedding, I am not too set on any season, but I am struggling to find venues that are nicely sized for 50 people, or that don’t have a minimum number of guests for Saturday that’s way over 50.
Can anyone recommend any venues that are a good size? My tastes are pretty simple, I like old fashioned very classic decor, a small old hall would be ideal. Geographically I would consider east of England, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Norfolk.

    My partner and I are getting married at The Dower House Hotel in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire in May this year. Our guest numbers are 47 for the day and then we only have around 8 extra for the evening. It’s a really nice venue and they offer different packages for different wedding sizes. The rooms for the wedding feel the perfect size for our numbers, in my opinion.

    I am getting married at Newland Hall in Essex. My wedding is 55 adults. They don't have a minimum requirement, they cater for small and large weddings. Can highly recommended, their coordinators have been amazing!
