Snacks on your wedding day

Wootton, 18 January, 2024 at 19:18 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hello

We are on a budget and getting married at 2pm, BBQ at 3:30pm, the catering at the moment is almost £4,000 so we can't stretch our budget for canapes, our wedding venue host mentioned a snack wall etc, has anyone been to a wedding with snacks around (Popcorn Bars) etc.

Its just a little something to take the edge off whilst waiting for food.

These are so popular now! You don’t want your guests to be full so a little snack just like a canapé would do tie them over! Crisps, nuts even some cheese boards. The ideas could go on. It will definitely work!

If you're getting married at 2 and having food at 3.30, I don't think you actually need snacks. Most people are going to have a sandwich or something before they arrive at the ceremony, so can easily go 3 hours or so for a meal.
