I've had a day off work today and couldn't decide whether to take my car to the car wash or to make the most of the sunshine and wash it by hand. I should have been lazy but instead I decided to wash it by hand and in the middle of that, I pulled the front door closed and managed to get my ring stuck on the handle. It's completely snapped the band at the back at the back of my ring! Gutted!
I took it to the jewellers and they're sending it off tomorrow to get fixed - it'll only cost me about £20 but I'll be without it for 2-3 weeks. I'm gutted that I broke it of course, but so glad that it won't break the bank and will be back in time for the wedding!
