snowjoggers / moon boots

I need to get a pair of 'sensible boots' for wearing during the winter. Where I live is prone to being very icy and impossible to drive on. I've managed so far but I had the thought the other day that should I ever need to walk to work I wouldn't have anything to put on my feet! I need something with good grip and hopefully waterproof, but also vaguely nice. I was looking online at snowjoggers and moon boots. Now I normally wouldn't wear something like that but I thought maybe in the winter weather they'd probably look ok (seeing as everyone wears silly shoes in the snow and ice anyway! ?). Does anyone have any and can tell me what they think of them? I don't seem to be able to find a supplier locally so will need to order them online.
