Hello! We’re in the process of finding and deciding on a singer/musician for the wedding ceremony and the reception. But there are just so so many out there, all sounding very similar with very similar reviews. I don’t want to get it wrong - how do I decide which to choose?! Any specific recommendations would be most welcome!

I would try see what videos they have of themselves performing live. Do they have any wedding performances videos you can watch? Live videos are good at giving an idea of what they might sound like on the day. Do any of the people you like perform the song you have for your ceremony? If so, could they do a short clip of the song in a video? I know a few musicians I like are doing live videos during lockdown, Sometimes having a friend listen to them, they may point out something different about voices that you didn't notice or say they like/don't like one.
