So stressed about a registrar

I am so completely stressed about booking a registrar. My local council are not taking new registrar books until October! I completely understand that they need to rebook those how have had to cancel. But they must know other couples are having too book venues. I'm so worried that come October and there is no registrar available for that day and it will ruin everything. It means I can't plan or book things with timings as I don't know what time we will be married. I know other brides have had their weddings cancelled but I suffer with anxiety and this going to worry me for 6 month's ?
