Thanks. We're going for a fortnight in September (me, MR JCG, 3 year old Harrison, and my parents, they're only going for one week)

Have you checked out trip advisor, holiday watchdog, holidays-uncovered.... etc?

We wanted to go to the Almirante Farragut Club Hotel as that looked really nice (but didn't book in time and the prices then hoiked upwards!)

Would love to go to Menorca as I've heard loads of great things about it.

    Hi mate,

It was great, thanks. And the weather was wonderful. Spent most afternoons down at the Warren (ate at the pub/restaurant there a few times as HJ went in the play pit whilst we ate!) on the beach with HJ. Went to Powderham castle, which was wonderful, Torquay, Dawlish itself a couple of times, Exeter. I won 3 times on the bingo (£2.50 a go, and the amount i won paid for the caravan!), I won a half price holiday by winning the talent contst and HJ came second in the fancy dress!

Wow the bingo was a result! Did you sing in the talent show then? I remember being really impressed when you did karaoke at Hall Green that time. ?

Not stayed at the Son Bou gardens, but we went to Son Bou (San Jaimie appts) last year and it was lovely, fantastic beach, very small place really but just about enough for a fortnight for little ones, very child-oriented, enough places to eat, and the whole resort was very low-rise (apart from Pinguinos on the beach, it's all 2-3 stories max) and just green and nice. Also very close to airport so no horrible long transfer to deal with after the plane!

Dean's Bond mad, and Indiana Jones and Dr who...

Hence our son Harrison (IJ) James (007)

    and if he'd been pink

Indiana Rose (Rose Tyler - Dr Who)

    Sad, huh?
