Songs for during the ceremony

karenanne229, 26 June, 2012 at 17:08 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi

Getting married next year (I know some time away) and having a non-religious wedding. I'm looking for songs that can be sung during the ceremony (like hymms would be at a church) and would like some suggestions. I just thought it would be nice....

Anyone?

Karen

You could try All things Bright And Beautiful or Jerusalem, but these may not be allowed in a civil ceremony because they make reference to God.

    They won't be allowed.

I haven't ever considered this, but maybe something like 'when I'm 64' that everyone knows the tune.

If you would like some suggestions of what other couples have requested in their weddings, you can visit https://www.martyncroston.com/repertoire.php

My advice would be to pick something that has a special meaning for you and your fiance
