Spain wedding blessing

Hi,

So if you get 'married' in Spain you do the legal bit in the UK and then have a blessing over there...this much I know!

Does this blessing have to be done in a church, or can it be done anywhere, eg favourite restaurant / beach etc?

    From what I can gather, through looking at websites etc, you can have a blessing anywhere in Spain. There are loads of website with information of wedding planners in Spain.

    I think you have to 'do the legal bit' here in the UK first. If you are Roman Catholic you can be legally married in Spain, but your local priest has to contact the local Spanish priest.

    Like I said before, this is just the information I have gathered through the internet!
