Stat decs are used in different circumstances. What did you need one for, that may help direct you.

It's for our wedding, we need a third party one. I think have a template, do our witnesses need to be with us when we go to the solicitor to stamp it?

I'm not sure I know of a third party one. Is it a declaration of single status?

There is an example here if that's what you mean.

What country are you getting married in as not all require a stat dec?

It's Malta, we need our own declaration and a third party one, but I think I have it all sorted now. Going to solicitors today! What a palava. I just want to run away and get married, but it's not so simple!
