Sticking to hessian

I am trying to stick some stickers to hessian drawstring bags, and they need a little help with their stickiness, as when i pull the drawstring the sticker is kidting. Any idea what the best glue to stick them with is please.

Try PVA glue. Failing that, you could try fabric glue. Although it seems to dry pretty much like PVA, which is why I'd try that first, as PVA is cheaper!

I think I'll be able to resell some of the glues ive bought. It's turned out to be an expensive experiment. Thank you! Ive just tried UHU glue and it seems to have worked. Im going to sew a little tack of thread around the edge too to give the extra hold.
