Still on the favours theme... Limoncello anyone?

I've just been searching the net, as you do when your OH is watching Football.... Smiley smile

I'm thinking of making my own Limoncello for favours, have also found miniature demi john bottles which are very reasonable.

Would anyone want a Limoncello favour? What are your thoughts please?

    Love it! Yes! I think that would be a great favour. Have you made it before? I saw Kirsty Allsop had a recipe and I was going to give it a go over the summer.

    No, I haven't made it before but I've had a quick look at recipes and it doesn't look too bad to make?!

    Also thinking, if I bought some nice tags then they could double up as a place setting, maybe??

    I went to a wedding recently where they had Limoncello as favours. Was awesome!! They brought 'luggage tag' style tags, tied them on and used them as name tags.

    I make limoncello for christmas presents every year and this is the recipe that I use...

    Fan-bloody-tastic idea. I love limoncello me... in fact, we're visiting future in laws tonight and I'm sure they've got a bottle in the larder - perfect for whilst being made to watch football where the two teams normally play in yellow, no? ?

    I've spoken to my OH about this and he is more than happy for me to go ahead with it but he's never tried Limoncello so I think I may have to make a cheeky first batch for him to sample... Smiley smile

    You've set me off now. I was so certain I wasn't haing favours. BUT one of my friends makes fab limoncello, another fab raspberry vodka and I make pretty good damson gin. I'm now thinking I may have to consider this.

    www.miniatureglassbottles.co.uk If you spend over £25.00 (I think) you get free "thank you for sharing our day" etc etc labels for the bottles..
