Yes! Mine is 2 months away and I'm the same. I go through excitement and then prolonged stress- people not sending in RSVPs or food options, venue not being very cooperative, general stress about the plan for the day. Sometimes I can't sleep at night 😅

Mine is July this year and so far I am ok..... But I do have moments of worry about people having to cancel as Covid is still around and if I wake up at night it takes me a while to get back to sleep! My venue have been great actually and very laid back - we have only given then a £500 deposit so far and they don't want any more money until 14 days before. We don't have any menu options, they will eat what they are given except dietary requirements lol. I am now worried about wedding rings too as not sorted that. I feel like this last few months has just flown by! Good luck to everyone with their planning.

Definitely had periods where the whirlwind of planning has felt wayyyy more stressful than exciting - that is totally normal and you will not be alone feeling like that. It's really hard but I have found it helpful to actively plan and and try to stick to some time away from anything 'wedmin' related in my week. My partner and I made a point of having some days away from screens doing something normal/relaxed. We had a day at the beach (away from screens) and it can help to ease the stress if you're able. We have also tried sitting down with a glass of wine and looking at all the things we HAVE chosen, it can help put into context how well you are doing, and help you see how all your ideas fit together. If it's 3 months away it might be worth doing a social media detox - unfollow anything that might be making you doubt ideas by posting 'picture perfect' images' that can be you doubt yourself. And all the effort WILL be worth it in the end!

Im glad im not the only one, im so particular and organised, and sometimes feel im stressing more than being excited. I have the exact same issue where communication is really bad from the venue we have chosen for the reception which is stressful in itself

I find a cheeky nightcap or 3 helps with sleep

    😉

This is a great idea, we do try and take time out for us and just chill but i think i need to maybe give myself time which isnt 'weddingmania days' lol which is a good idea.

Im the main person organising, my partner hasnt been very laid back about it so its all heavy on my shoulders ( man thing apparantly) lol. so il defo take your advice on having days not about the wedding , thankyou Smiley smile
