Struggling to find nice bridesmaid dresses

colldel1981, 17 August, 2011 at 13:15 Posted on Planning 0 15

Hi All,

Please can I have some advice.I'm really struggling to find any nice bridesmaid dresses, especially as all my bridesmaids are different sizes,?

Colour I'm looking for is a royal/cobalt blue colour - I've looked at getting them made from Alfred angelo/dessy but they are very expensive and then do you have to pay for alterations on top of the dresses?

If you have pics of your BM dresses, Please flash them- I would love to see them!

Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks xx

I fell in love with these Dessy dresses but they are so expensive. I'm going to get mine made instead . Will work out cheaper. I found a pattern online and the girls will chose the style they want. Think it will be strapless for a couple and a cross over front for the others. This is the pattern

Mine were from monsoon, and my little girls are from BHS

I have heard lots of bad reviews about dessy but if there is something you really love from them then maybe its an option

I would try BHS, all the bags/shoes/accessories all come in every colour to match and i rate their products they are really good value and beautiful fabrics etc xxx

So I am really breaking out of lurksville now, and trying to flash. Did it work? Is it massive? Anyway, if it worked this is my dress, from Vivien of Holloway. They have a few different very flattering, styles, and are around £100. They also come in great colours - I found some lovely styles on the high street, but not in the colour I wanted.
