I used to have a ring ring tone but it drove me mad not knowing if it really was my phone ringing or someone else's so I went for something unique.

Mine is the Indiana Jones theme, however I can state that it has rung three times so far in the last 6 months so it's not that irritating is it? That probably says more about me than the ring tone eh?.....

Mine's a piano riff.

There's a new boy sitting across the way to me at work and his ring tone is Sweet Home Alabama. I don't know what to make of that one.

We have a bit of a weird client who is in her 60s. She was in the other day and her phone suddenly went off full blast (reeeally loud) vibrating to Rihanna, Disturbia ?

I don't even know what my tone is!

My ringtone is currently "Rockstar" by Nickelback it's pretty useful as nowdays i do generally hear it ringing whilst buried somewhere in my handbag.

Mr Dooby's is the theme to the F1 coverage (i think it's a Moby song?) and his message alert is a Renault F1 car zooming past - i think it's safe to say he's a bit of a F1 fan from that ?

I have the Doctor Who theme tune and my text message alert is the daleks shouting 'exterminate'. ? Oh yeah, and my background is the Tardis spinning through space.

I love it, especially as I look nothing like many people's idea of what a Doctor Who fan should look like. When it goes off in unfamiliar company it usually sparks off a few surprised looks followed by "you like Doctor Who?" ?

Mine is "Something kinda oooh" by Girls Aloud ? What does thats say about me ? My text tone is Yoda ?

I've got Chuck Berry, Jonny Be Good as my ring tone.

It reminds me of being young and dancing around my partents lounge to my dad's old records.

BTW - I'm only 27, just my dad is a traditionalist when it came to listening to music ? It came as quite a shock when he got a CD player!

my nokias had the SATC tune, from one of those places you phone on a premium number, but i did it from work, and don't have that option now. hence the dullity

Mine plays what ever ring tone Mr P set as it is his old phone and I rarely use it so didn't see any point in changing the settings ?.

I read the other day of someone having DT saying "Someone wants a word with you" (from the Peter Kay DW episode) as their text alert - brilliant! (although they were quite embarrased when it went off in the RSC shop)

I am tempted to have the Dr Who theme tune but am sticking with ringring and beepbeep at the moment.

Mine is Chelsea Dagger by the Fratellis and my text alert is just a beep. I would love to get more, but I generally swipe ones from my friends as I only know how to work bluetooth!

Mine is just ring ring, but not through choice. I still haven't worked out how to customise ringtones on the Iphone yet.

My H's text alert is from Monty Python and the Holy Grail and it's an arrow hitting a tree and someone saying "message for you sir."

Mine is just a ringing tone as I can't be bothered chasing up anything more interesting. Mostly it's on buzz only anyway.

My mate used to work at the Samaritan's head office and there was always a joke that the theme tune for MASH should be used for putting people calling the admin staff on hold ?

My stupid new phone doesn't have a normal rinigng noise, so I have put '12 Reasons Why' by My Life Story as the ring tone, as it is loudish and I will recognise it as my phone

I have Womanizer by Britney as its my fave tune at the moment! The only way I can describe my message tone is A"VVVVRRRROOOOOOOOMMM!!!" noise. Its a nokia N95 tone called "Message 6". Its pretty cool IMO, loads of people have asked me to send them it but I cant as it came with the phone.

Umm, that was my text message alert until last week when my phone buggered up and lost half my tones.......?

Mine is Dance Dance by Fall Out Boy, my voicemail kicks in after the intro though so it's the beginning part which I get which I like. My message tones are crap, I periodically change between 3 of the standard ones because they get on my nerves.

H has me laughing for his ringtone for me, which I think it quite sweet [fluff] his massage tone is Achmed the Dead Terroist saying "silence, I kill you" progressively louder - which he finds amusing and I find annoying, but it's better than the R2D2 one he had before, or the police siren before that. I married a 6'5" child ?

I have a normal ring tone and beep, as I can't be arsed to fanny about with it.

H has the Imperial March from Star Wars for when his Dad rings though.

Same as you I just have a free one and I just go for the least annoying and loudest sounding options so I'm practical and lazy.

My daughter keeps changing mine without telling me, so the phone will start ringing, then after a while I'l think 'For God's sake, will they answer their phone?!' then realise it must be mine. ?

My daughter sends them to my phone through bluetooth which is free. That's how she gets them from her friends too. Where they originate from, I have no idea [old fuddy duddy no.2?
