Super Relaxed DIY Wedding Reception Venue Nottinghamshire

Hi everyone!

We're desperately looking for a wedding venue and can't really find anything suitable, I dont know if we're just hoping for too much but thought it was worth asking!!

So what we're after is basically a festival-style wedding. We originally started looking at barns and then moved on to just trying to find bits of land (in which we would put up a marquee)

The essentials:

- Can use any caterers

- Can bring own drinks and no corkage charge

- No curfew (or late curfew)

- Pretty

Ideal:

- Onsite accomodation

- Onsite licence for wedding ceremonies

My venue wouldnt be much use for you but have you looked at colwick hall.

you can use your own cater and they have on site accommodation

We are putting up a marquee in Nottinghamshire for a relaxed wedding too but we are getting married in a church and there is no accommodation. It's basically a tent in a field approach. Thorsby Hall let you use your own caters so might be worth looking at them.
