Surprising guests we got married

We are planning on getting married with just our children and parents in attendance the day before our sons baptism and announcing that we are married during the evening party after the baptism. We have been together over 20 years and really didn’t want a big wedding…
Has anyone done this before and have any good fun ideas on how to announce that we got married?

We were doing this befor COVID, it was going to be our Engagement Party in the evening and we were going to marry earlier that day. We were going to greet our guests in party clothes and then we were going to play a montage of pics of us, ending with a pic of us at the marriage and then come out in our wedding outfits. Totally you should do it!
