Sweet Centrepieces

EJJones, 18 April, 2013 at 13:51 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi All

I am looking for some help! I am looking at having sweets in jars as my centre pieces on the table so guests have their own pick 'n' mix but i am looking for them to fit in with my colour scheme which is black and white with a hint of Lime Green.

Does anyone know if you can buy sweets in their individual colours? Eg Only Green smarties or only black m&m's??

Thanks for your help. I am quite new to this forum so would be intrigued to hear your thoughts!?

If you go to M&M world in London (Leicester Square) you can buy any colours seperately, whether you want peanut ones or normal :-)

If you have difficulty finding the coloured sweets you need, you could 'cheat' a little and be creative! Use jars that are painted on the outside the colour you need (you could do this yourself with glass paints) and put white sweeties in there or you could put coloured tissue paper inside the jar to make it a little easier - the tissue paper could be strategically placed for a two tone effect.

WEll could use black and white humbugs?

How about going to a fairly cheap pick and mix andpicking out only the coloured sweets you want, might take a while but be worth it Smiley smile

or just use sweets that already come in the colours you want?

white sweets- marshmellows, white mice, toffee bon bons, mint imperials, milk bottles,

Black- licorice, black jacks, blackberrysm kop kops, army and navy,

    Green-chocolate limes,apple sours,apple cable,
