Symi for Honeymoon - Anybody been?

As the title says really.

H2B has booked us a honeyoon to Symi - it is a small Island just off Rhodes.

Just wondered if anybody else has been and has any recommendations?

    Not been there although have been to Rhodes quite a few times. I have heard it is lovely though, one of my uncles has been and loves it. It's meant to be a bit more of the 'real' greece as such and quite quaint.

    Hi! Sorry, I don't stroll over here very often!

    Symi is beautiful...we stayed there for 2 nights a few years ago when we were in Rhodes and I loved it. Can't remember where we stayed or anything, but I'd say do it! You need to fly into Rhodes, and then get the transfer to Symi. Maybe combine it with a trip to Rhodes though if you're wanting a beach holiday as well. I love Lindos in Rhodes, which is possibly where your brother got married as its very popular! Its where we were going to get Married until we visited Santorini! Xx
