Table names!!

I'm going to have a little nosey into them! I need about 12 tables naming 🥰 thank you so much.

To be honest, if you're struggling to come up with themed names this much, I'd just go for table numbers (you could always stick the numbers into a lemon if you want to carry on your theme! )

I think themed table names work well when there is a story behind them - when the couple have chosen the names because they have special relevance to them. For example, I've been to weddings where the tables have been named after locations of special dates or places where they've lived, a multi-lingual couple used the word 'love' in different languages, and animal lovers have named tables after past and present pets. It's been interesting to hear the stories behind the table names. But if it's just 'we needed some themed table names', then it doesn't have the same impact, and I think numbers would be fine.

The lemon theme has a back story - when we met we both was on a health kick🤣 and one morning we both made each other our favourite lemon drink unknowingly and rocked up to an event in the exact same lemon cup from tesco, after that we baked a lemon cake together and it became our favourite, now we so it as a tradition as we had kids and our daughters favourite cake is our lemon cake so she gets it every birthday.
We wanted Italian themed names that we could find a reference for, we've gone with mutual favourite drinks and food that we've had on our very first dates after Melissa suggested food/drink we just had to think very far back to the early days🤣 and will be giving each table a drink or food as a favour. For example, our Limoncello table will get small bottles of Limoncello.

Could you possibly just name the tables after things that mean something to you. I think this tends to work best, because each name has a meaning. Your table names don't really need to be directly linked to the theme, especially as your having trouble with it.

We have named our tables after places that mean something to us. E.g my fiancé proposed at Blenheim Palace so one of our tables is called Blenhiem. Our first trip away together we stayed in a hotel called The Gonville, so one table is called Gonville.

My overall theme is Burgundy and Pink, very floral. To get these tied in with the theme, we just have had the table name signs designed with borders in keeping with this.

You could therefore name your tables something easier to come up with and then have the signs designed with a lemon border.

It doesn't fit in with your theme, but we are having the names of some of our favourite songs at ours and songs that mean something to us x
