Table names!

What about stuff to do with The Italian Job film? The different coloured minis etc?

You could do a mixture of Italian and British food.

E.g. Fish and Chips, Risotto, Bangers and Mash, Spaghetti Carbonara etc etc.

Our friends had puddings as their table names, and on the table plan they wrote the name of the table, but on the table itself they had a picture of the food itself IYSWIM. Was awesome.

How about different cities in each country? You could have the city you grew up in, the one she grew up in, where you met, where you've visited, where you're marrying etc.

Or you could have words relating to marriage - love, trust, faith, etc - and have the English name on some tables, then the Italian version on others?

She thinks this is the best idea and as our theme is Lemon the colours would suit.

We thinking of the type of pasta on the table somehow which the Italian name and then the English meaning with it, to educate the British a little!

I have no idea how I could present it on a wedding table though! Pasta in a jar with a ribbon on????

So far we like the look of...

Filled with the type of pasta and a candle in the middle.

This way it has both the British and Italian theme all in one!

What do you reckon?

We did see these one's in the range but think I would need to spray them to make them look a bit cleaner then run black chalk or something over it to bring the detail back out...
