Taking Cerazette and amoxicillin

I'm currently on amoxicillin for my ear/throat infection and asked my gp if I was ok with my Cerazette as I know antibiotics can reduce the pill's effectiveness. She said that because Cerazette is progesterone only it isn't affected and I won't get pregnant. I'm worried that I will though,so not letting H near me. Anyone got any experience of these 2?

I would be careful TBH, I was on Dianette and antiB's stopped that from working. What does Google say?

It says that it's ok as well. Last thing I need is a pregnancy! I'm too old for a baby!
