I got some low sandals from Faith, they were silver and had about an inch heel.

Thanks Claire I'll have a look on their website, silver would be fine for me too! Are they really strappy though as I was looking more at the full fronted shoe?

They were strappy but they had loads to choose from, this time of year should be good for shoes what with the party season coming up!

I had exactly the same problem and ended up wearing a rainbow club pair. May also be worth having a look at Next. They have some gorgeous low closed front shoes.

Thanks girls to be honest I have only looked a coupleof places and just panicked that theya ll looked huge and clumpy! I just want to feel elegant!

Don't forget to make sure that your groom wears shoes with thick soles too! Not heels obviously, but not too flat if you see what I mean! Give him a bit of extra height as well!

My OH is 2 ins shorter than me (am 5"8) plus have giant wide size 8 feet.... I hate my feet - least favourite part of my body. I was planning on having a look in Dune, Nine West and Faith. And new look on the off chance. I agree with the next suggestion too - they have some lovely closed toe low heeled pumps with a little sparkly pin on.

I got gold kitten heels from marks and spencer (per una)

I'm in the same boat.

We are the same height with no shoes, so I'm looking for some nice chunky heeled shoes for him and a small heel for myself (size8). There seem to be quite a few places on the interweb that do big shoes with little heels, so I'm not getting too worried just yet. I had a quick look on google and there were loads, and girls of elegance stands out in my memory too.

I am 5'10" and H2B is 6'2" so I got 2.5" heels from Perditas Wedding shoes (online). They do the shoes in heel height categories and there are some gorgeous ones!

I have exactly the same problem and I've just brought some beautiful Diane Hassall shoes that are just 6cm......but Fifi do some beautiful ones too.

Have a look at Elegantsteps.co.uk they have a sale on at the mo' plus you can return for a full refund if you choose you don't like them within 14days.

They have lots of completely flat shoes too.........with pretty lacy and crystals and designs.......so you could get a real pucker pair but completely flat.
