Tattoo cover up

Rhiannon, 19 March, 2021 at 08:02 Posted on Planning 0 4
Hiya ladies and gents

I get married July 2022.
I’m finally going to bridal shops next month to try on some beautiful wedding dresses and hopefully buy my dress
I have a few ugly tattoos on my back that are around 10-12 years old. I managed to have 1 tattoo laser removal treatment and was hoping that the tattoos would be gone by now but lockdown has put a stop to that as the shop had to close I’m starting my laser removal treatments in April- so by the wedding my tattoos should be gone !!
The problem is, I’m going bridal dress shopping with my mother in law (to be) and sister in law (to be) who don’t know about my tattoos as I always hide them with clothing. I know that they will want to see me in a variety of dresses - including backless
I don’t want to put camouflage make up on as it will rub off onto the dresses and be mortifying
I’ve read that there’s patches that you put on (like plasters) has anyone tried these ? What brand would you recommend?
Kind regards
Rhiannon

    Kat Von D lock-it tattoo cover-up. She's also a massive babe!

Thank you . Have you used this product? Does it transfer onto fabrics? My tattoos are on my back, so worried the make up will rub off onto the dresses I’m trying on

On the plus side, I have another laser tattoo removal session booked in for next month *yay*

I haven't tried it, but wierdly my drag queen friend got me onto it. I think it's because it's pretty sweat proof when perferming. But I'm not sure about about the rub off effect. Are you sure you need to cover it for fittings? And well done on getting an appointment, my heardresser finally got me in for 24th April and I'm skipping inside a little everyday!
