TCP - down there!

WickyWack, 31 of May of 2013 at 14:45 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 9

There is a lady at work that smells of this all the time. I mentioned it to OH today just in conversation and he said that there used to be a girl at his uni that used it to wash with and the she smelled of it too.

Is this a thing that people do? TCP, down there? It stinks so bad! Surely its a bit harsh to use on your lady bits?

?

    Sounds like it would sting!

Never heard of people doing this before

I think you use it neat on spots and cuts, but can dilute a capful in a bowl of water to soak.

I'm sure it says can be used in childbirth on the bottle! Or maybe that was Dettol? Not sure. Either way, I can think of nicer smelling, gentler ways to wash down there.

I would imagine it smarts a bit if neat, but dilute would be OK. But yes, the smell would pervade. Perhaps her "au naturel" smell is worse?

But, have you considered the lady at work might be using a medicated shower gel/shampoo/spot cream. There's a cleanser brand - the name eludes me now - that absolutely reeks of disinfectant.

Im sure that they recommend tcp diluted in your bath after you have had a baby to soothe things? I know putting it on ulcers in your mouth flippin stings!

I don't know if she still does, but my nan use to always put some in her bath. I have no idea why, although she is a bit of a cleaning/germ obsessive.

Maybe this lady does the same?
