Teal/Purple/Peacock Brides.....HELP!?

Fushia and teal got really well together, sherrie psoted a moood bored on this the other day which was fab!tis the colours i am having fo rmy may wedding

Not sure if i can help, but we are sticking with the teal(ours is more of a blue teal), ivory and natural colours and we are getting wed in July. Most people only tend to have one accent colour, but you can do what you like and adding purple will look lovely with the teal.

You could incorporate the peacock colours etc by having peacock inspired jewellery, this is proving quite popular at the moment, and hair accessories too or even using feathers with the flowers maybe?. I'll post a few links to various things that i've been looking at. Hope it helps.

Also, keep in mind that peacocks don't just come in the normal purple/blue/green colours. If you look at the white peacocks etc...there's some beautiful colours in there, rather iridescent colours.And just to show the variety of colours:

There are lots of ways to incorporate all of the colorurs, also adding a Lime green can give it a fresher feel like this:

Depends how supersticous (sp?) you are regarding peacock feathers LOL! They are meant to bring very bad luck! A lot of people won't use them because of this. I once bought some for the shop and I had no end of problems so I chucked the lot out - everything fine after that!

Luckily we are not superstitious!?

They are all old wives tales and mean nothing to me if im honest. I think people tend to blow things out of proportion with superstitions and it can become quite obssessive (sp). I see it, if you like it, then have it, simples ?

We've got our 3 bridesmaids in peacock colours, one in teal, one in purple and one in midnight blue. GOing to stick with natural fabrics, neutral flowers and colours otherwise. I think the chaps will be in grey as it's a spring wedding but undecided as yet.

Decisions, decisions.

What I'm not sure about is which of those 3 colours to use as an accent, if at all. My sister who is CMB is adamant it should be teal as that's the dress she's in and she's 'the next most important person there after' me, apparently... ?

No wonder I have been married twice, I had pearls at both weddings. Think I might bypass them the next time!!?

I wore pearls for mine too.... Right, diamonds and crystals it is!!! ?

I am also having teal as it is my favourite colour and the same bridesmaid dresses too in May next year. I did think about having a strong pink colour with it but have decided not to now and so am just having teal, ivory and silver. I have found teal crystals for the table, teal ribbons, teal organza sashes for the chairs and will be having white/cream flowers too.
