Hello! I’m just starting the planning process and hoping to get married in Thailand early 2023. ?‍♀️

Has anyone else had/waiting for their wedding in Thailand or Koh Samui? I’d love to hear your experience (Is it worth looking at travel agents/wedding planners, are there any hidden costs I should expect, how did you manage accommodation?) Grateful for any knowledge ?

Hello,
Not myself, but I went to my cousin's wedding in Koh Phangan in 2019 (but we flew into Koh Samui!) They had it held at a resort hotel who seemed very good at organising everything over email and it included a wedding planner who was on hand all day. I think they had a travel agent plan their stay and honeymoon combined but as guests we mostly just co-ordinated our own travel and extra accommodation but stayed at the resort around the wedding itself.
