The long search for a wedding venue!

No, you'll know when you find the right place! It helped us to be really clear on what our non-negotiables where and go from there. I looked at so many venues, but each one was missing something or would force us to compromise our vision for the wedding. When we finally found our dream venue, there was no compromise needed. It had everything we wanted and was in budget.


If you're looking for 5 star venues at 2 star prices then that may not work and you might need to adjust your expectations... but remember weddings are an industry, so you will find something you love, you might just have to be creative about where you look.

We ended up going for the first one we viewed! Combo of being between the two lockdowns in 2020, and it absolutely blowing us away (plus the package deal we have is fantastic!)
