The Marmite debate

I love it!

I have it on toast with scrambled egg on top.

Oooh, I hast thought of putting it on a chicken. Good idea!!

I bloody love it! hot toast, lashings of melted butter & the brown dtuff!

I love it eith cheese too. chunk of mature cheddar with marmite spread on top! yum! i love marmite & cheese toasties, the chef where i used to work thought i was really weird but the do yhem in starbucks now!

In my yoof i eent throught a phase a of having a bowl of pasta with grated cheese melted in and a big doloo dolop of marmite!!

Vile! It tastes burnt. I really want to love it though but I can't bring myself to.

I neither love it nor hate it. I don't buy it, but occasionally I'll have toast and marmite at work. I also like cheese and marmite sandwiches.

I love it but I have to use it sparingly.

I also like Vegemite. In fact Inhave Vegemite on the go at the moment. It tastes like a slightly milder marmite to me!

Currently got a catering tub from costco on the go, more in it than the biggest glass jar, and cheaper too Marmite Heaven!!!

I generally don't like starbucks coffee/food, but the exception is their cheddar and marmite on ciabatta role which is my Friday lunch time treat. Amazing. And I',m in love with their skinny coffee frappacinos as well....

Love it - could it marmite on toast all day long - has to be mixed well with butter though and can't be too thick - can't stand too much on toast! I like twiglets too and they're marmite flavoured.

on toast is my hangover cure of choice. I also cook with it. adds depth to spag bog and other beefy dishes.

Mmmmm, Marmite! I used to hate it, but a friend introduced me to Marmite and peanut butter on toast (which is amazing), and since then I love it. On toast with or without butter, with peanut butter. I also add it to stock

Haven't you both ever wondered what it tastes like as there's so much talk around it all the time? I'd have to try some just in case I was missing out on something amazing (which in my opinion I think you are!)

It's something I do wonder about when I hear people talking about then doing a shop it never comes to mind, will have to go out my way to buy it and see if I like it

Can't stand it. The smell makes me want to throw up, unfortunately H2B and youngest sproglet love the stuff. I have only eaten it willingly once. I had an urge one morning to have it on toast. Half way through I randomly realised I was 8 days late for my period, made a panicked phone call to my best friend who appeared with a pregnancy test twenty minutes later et voila, I was pregnant with the Marmite Eaters Marmite- eating child!

I'm another who can take it or leave it. But if I do fancy it, it'll be the thinnest scraping of it on buttered toast!

I can honestly say I've never tried it. For me that whole Love / Hate PR thing is a mistake cos it puts me off even trying it if there's a chance that it might make me boak (and they ackowledge that fact!)
