the wedding veil shop / general veil question

Has anyone used the wedding veil shop .co.uk for their veil?

I'm thinking of a 2 tier veil like this one with the wired edge.

I ordered their samples of Ivory and Ivory Shimmer but can't decide. They both looked lovely but hard to imagine the quality of the veil when it is complete. After the first awful one I bought which was basically just net, I'm wary of buying one without seeing it but I can't afford shop prices.

Has anyone got any experiences of using these please?

Also, I fancy a 2 tier but I won't be wearing it over my face, do you think that would be ok or do you think a 1 layer would be better?

    Don't have any experience of them but can answer on the two tier veil thing. I think it's def OK to have two tiers and not wear one over your face. I did exactly this with a waist-length top tier and finger-tip length bottom tier. Am attaching a couple of pics to give you an idea:

    PS I bought mine second-hand on Ebay for £45 (new RRP £100). It was a Joyce Jackson and the quality was fab! So recommend looking second-hand as well ?

    I don't know about that shop but I got mine from UKWeddingVeils.co.uk. Mine was shoulder-length (to go with my 50s dress) and 1 tier... was very good quality- lovely soft tulle and arrived very fast :-)

    I ordered mine from uk wedding veils. Built my own as I wanted a short veil, 2 tiers with a thin ribbon edge.

    I like the material they have used alot. It arrived quickly and packaged lovely. Only £17

    Bargain!!!!?
