We're having a Middle-eastern/arabian nights themed wedding and I am clueless about ideas for what we could do with it! Ive got as far as purple, red and gold colour scheme, and now have drawn a blank. Any ideas?

Is anyone else having a themed wedding, if yes why did you choose it what ideas have you had for your theme?

We did this chill out area at a wedding I did 2 yrs ago, it was great & the guests loved it:

Lots of pillows/poufs in the right colours... you could do some wonderful draping with fabric in the right colours/textures!

Incense maybe... smell is often overlooked but it can have a great effect!

Lamps would look lovely and provide great lighting!

You could have a bellydancer as entertainment? Middle Eastern food?
