Thoughts on bubbles vs. confetti?

Gbutterfly, 31 of August of 2011 at 16:37 Posted on Planning 0 11

Me and OH are having a debate on this. We both love bubbles, and have had a bubble machine suggested to us for when we walk down the aisle instead of everyone blowing bubbles. I've also heard though that they can stain so am in two minds.

What does everyone think first of all, bubbles or confetti?

and if we decided on bubbles, bubble machine or hand bubbles out to guests?

Just to give an idea on setting, wedding will be outside something like so...

I have never seen anyone having bubbles at their wedding, so i was thinking i was being quite original lol, i dunno if the venue has any objections to confetti tho, i never thought of that!

EEEkkk. I thought I was having bubbles, but now with talk of staining I'm worrying. Confetti isn't allowed at our venue but bubbles are.

What brand was it that stained?

I have come across bubbles a number of times and I think you should be careful about getting them on certain fabrics.

The wedding ones in little plastic champagne bottles are rubbish. The best ones I have seen are in quite big tubes and the blow stick has an oval hole - see the older bridesmaid photo, or one with multiple holes - see the flower girl, but even better than that are bubble machines with the proper liquid.
